ABOUT THE CURATOR
In 2008 Jun Lee became the first and only curator at Ogilvy & Mather in New York. She has been charged to curate exhibitions that are edgy, thought provoking, visceral and engaging. A graduate of the Pratt Institute School of Art & Design, Lee has an extensive background in art history as well as a thorough understanding of technique.

Lee joined the art buying department at Ogilvy in 2006. In 2007, Ogilvy asked her to develop an art exhibition program within the agency as part of its rebranding strategy. Thus, OgilvyArt was born and the first show demonstrated her visionary style as a curator. Lee's mission is to introduce "big ideas" for OgilvyArt. She has taken on this pursuit not only to create a consistent voice for Ogilvy but also to start a conversation with the galleries' patrons, spectators, and her Ogilvy colleagues. "Since advertising is about using 'ideas' to sell, I am using socially relevant ideas within contemporary art to inspire and evoke dialogue and imagination," says Lee. Working in a creative think tank, she has been given the opportunity to act as a source of inspiration and as an ambassador of contemporary visual culture amongst her peers at Ogilvy.
